Helpdesk employee 1st line
You'll be joining the service desk team. This is all about operational customer support. Currently, the team consists of 5 employees who guarantee a professional service, both by phone and by email. As a member of the team, you are the point of contact for customers. You register problems and collect as much additional information as possible by asking questions. Based on this, you offer a fast and customer-oriented solution to the problem. You ensure follow-up and communications with the customer and you help create constant customer satisfaction.
As a member of the IT team, you will resolve 3rd line incidents (client/server/network) that are escalated by our Service Desk; this might be done remotely or on-site. You are also responsible for the optimisation of our data centre, which offers hosting services. You will follow up on new technologies, analyse their added value and take care of both implementation and support. Furthermore, you will carry out projects with the utmost care and follow them through from start to finish. You will coordinate your work with your colleagues to ensure that our service and projects are delivered in the best possible way.
You are on the front line, keeping our current customers happy and warming up your prospects. You win people over with strong arguments. Pro-actively looking for new opportunities doesn't scare you.
Your main objective is to maximise sales within our different solutions and to manage the partner channel.
Your responsibilities are divided into 2 main parts: managing the accounts in your existing customer portfolio and convincing new customers to join us.
